Q: Can you help me set up my rental car?
A: Of course. Our office can coordinate and schedule your rental to be at our site when you drop off your vehicle. You can also drop your rental off when your repairs are complete and we'll return it for you.

Q: How does the insurance billing work?
A: We are contracted with several of the majopr insurance carriers and will bill them direct for your repairs and collect your deductible upon completition of your vehicle. In the event we are not contracted we will attain approval for all repairs and help facilitate approval and payment on your behalf. Ask your representative about the specifics with your insurance carrier.

Q:What is the warranty on repairs?
A: Workmanship is 100% quaranteed for as long as you own your car.

A: Since 1974

Q: How long will the repairs take?
A: This is determined by the extent of the damage based on the industry averages. Your service advisor will give you a completion date.

Q: If my vehicle's structure is damaged, is it a total loss?
A: Not always. A car is a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds the determined value of your vehicle. Nowadays, most cars are built using unibody (frame and body as one) construction. Our highly skilled technicians, with the aid of our state-of-the-art computer measuring system, can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. If it is determined that the structure beyond repair, that section can simply be replaced.

Q: Can you match the paint color?
A: Today's modern factory finishes incorporate multiple layers of highly specialized paints. We have made a major investment in Dupont, the finest paint system available, which constantly upgrades its technology. Our cutting edge equipment ensures that each vehicle's paint matches. We take special pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the restoration process. Also we are fully compliant with State approval water bourne paint products.

Q: Can i get other service work done on my vehicle while it is in the body shop?
A: Yes. Just let your Service Advisor know what other work you would like done, so that he or she can make the necessary arrangements.

Q: Can I get a ride home when I drop off my car?
A: Yes, we would be happy to provide this service to you. We want each customer's experience to be positive, and we will work diligently towards that goal. We provide a pickup and delivery within a wide local area.

Q: How will I know when my car is done?
A: You will be notified at least 24 hours before your vehicle is completed.

Q: Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?
A: Yes, We guarantee all repairs with a Lifetime Warranty which you will receive, when you pick up your vehicle.

Q: Do I have to pay deductable?
A: If you are a claimant, there is no deductable.

Q: Who do I pay my deductable to?
A: If it has been confirmed that your deductable does apply to your claim, it will be your responsibility to pay us when you pick up your vehicle.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: The easiest and most convenient way to pay for your portition of the repairs to your vehicle is with a major credit card. We accept American Express, Visa, Master Card & Discover. Of course, cash is always welcome.

Q: What are betterment charges?
A: Parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (i.e., tires, batteries and suspension parts) are commonly subject to betterment charges when they are replaced during the repair process. These betterment charges are determined by your insurance company and are pro-rated based on actual miles or age of your vehicle.

Q: Can I wash my car?
A: Yes, with the advanced refinishing products we use, the best suggestion is treat the vehicle linke nothing ever happened.

Q: Can I choose GTA Auto Body as my repair facility?
A: Yes you can! According to the Consumer Bill of Rights in the State of California, you as the owner, have the right to choose the repair shop of your choice. Regardless of what insurance company you have, you can have us perform your repairs. Some insurance companies will try to tell you to go to their professional shops and that they will not guarantee the repairs we perform. WE will guarantee our repairs the same as the insurance company will with their preferred shops.

Q: When should I report my accident?
A: You should report the accident as soon as possible as you have an obligation under your insurance policy to inform them in a reasonable amount of time. Rule of thumb, the sooner the better.

Q: Can you help me handle my claim with my insurance company?
A: Yes. After the initial claim is made, we will assist you with almost all the aspects of your claim. We have insurance claims experience that proves to be invaluable helping our clients resolve issues and understanding the claims procedure.

Q: Do I have to pay my deductable?
A: That depends on your type of claim. If you are repairing your vehicle through your own insurance company and they have not waived it, you will pay the deductable to us when you pick up your vehicle after the repairs are completed. If you are a claimant, repairing your vehicle through the responsible party's insurance company, then you would not have a deductable. They will be paying for the entire repair.

Q: How will the damage be estimated?
A: We will usually inspect and write a preliminary estimate based on the damage we see before the vehicle is disassembled. Some insurance companies will send an appraiser out to inspect with us, come to an agreement on the estimate and begin the repairs. Being a Direct Repair Facility for the insurance companies listed below, we will estimate and submit the information electronically, where it will be reviewed for approval. This makes the process much faster than waiting for an appraiser.
